Traumatic Grief and Ambiguous Loss: a Client Centered Approach
Designed for licensed and pre-licenced mental health practitioners.
This training will educate participants on the difference between Normal Grief and Prolonged Grief Disorder. Participants will be able to identify different types grief and loss in their clients, and learn evidence based therapeutic approaches.
Participants will be able to explain three key principals of the Client Centered approach and understand the benefits of using this with grieving clients.
The course meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing education credit for LMFT’s, LCSW’s, LPCC’s and LEP’s as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
